TCS New York City Marathon Opening Ceremony

Corey helmed the inception of what became an annual spectacle. As Supervising Producer he curated this “Olympic-style” addition to marathon weekend, which includes a custom Broadway-like opening musical dance performance, a parade of nations, live entertainment, the introduction of top pro athletes, and climaxes with a dazzling 20-minute fireworks array.
Over 2,000 global athletes participate in the event’s finish line adjacent arena, in front of a live audience of 10,000 spectators. Broadcast live on ESPN, this program is a perennial ratings winner for local affiliate WABC-TV.
